A banner year for the Fr. McGivney Century Council 8027 which saw the ranks of active members swell thanks to the recruiting efforts of Gran Knight Norm Lessard, Fr. Johnny Vadakkan, and others. With the fresh faces came fresh and exciting ideas for serving our community, the church, and each other. Many of these ideas evolved into firsts for our council such as a having a Website, Hosting 1st, 2nd, and 3 degree's, 1st Annual Baby Shower Dinner Fund Raiser, 1st Annual Mothers Day Gift Basket Raffle, pilgrimage to New Haven CT, as well as many other successful programs and activities.
